With a 4 liter V6 engine and the market's largest displacement, the DF300AP is made for high-performance boats such as RIB charters and competitive fishing boats.
The DF300AP handles the entire range from smooth low-rev driving up to top speed. It has many advantages in its high-tech shell.
Performance-enhancing features such as double overhead camshafts (DOHC) with four valves per cylinder, Suzuki's Variable Valve Timing (VVT) and multi point electronic fuel injection.

Awarded three times by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) for innovative technology and design, Suzuki's flagship V6 four-stroke outboards set and redefine the standards for how outboards are judged.
Dual overhead camshafts (DOHC) with 24 valves and electronic fuel injection are standard throughout the V6 range.
While the Suzuki DF 300 AP has variable valve timing (VVT) for greater low- and mid-range torque, the DF225 benefits from a multi-stage induction system to achieve maximum performance.
Using a 55-degree V-block design, Suzuki's engineers have managed to cram all this award-winning power and performance into a very compact design.
Suzuki selective rotation
The Suzuki DF 300 AP was the world's first outboard to have "Suzuki selective rotation", an ingenious technology that allows the same engine to run in two modes: normal rotation (clockwise) and anti-rotation (counter-clockwise).
To change the direction of rotation, a special connection to an internal circuit and installation of a propeller suitable for the desired rotation is required.
The versatility of these outboards increases while eliminating the need to purchase a custom counter-rotation model. This benefits both dealers and owners.

Suzuki Precision Control
The DF300AP features Suzuki Precision Control, Suzuki's computer-based drive-by-wire system, which facilitates driving with smooth, precise regulation and direct, definite shifting.
The engine is equipped with the Suzuki Keyless Start System, which functions as an integrated anti-theft system – the Suzuki Security System.
A coded key box communicates with a device in the boat and enables the keyless start of the engine.
