An optimal multi-purpose boat
Wheelhouse boats have generally had short roofs and conventional canopy solutions.
With the help of innovative design work and modern composite materials - where we use geometric support structures, vacuum infusion and carbon fiber - we have now developed a new type of self-supporting roof that covers the entire length of the aft deck.
The self-supporting roof construction eliminates the need for support beams at the rear edge of the roof and opens up the stern deck in a completely new way - the Askeladden P76 Weekend provides maximum user comfort for boaters.
It is now very easy to open up and close the aft deck with the help of practical canopy curtains, which makes it easier to use the boat.
The Askeladden P76 Weekend is an optimal multi-purpose boat, Layout and interior design follows in the same footsteps as the P92 SUV and P79 Weekend, although this boat is more of a day trip and weekend boat than a long-distance boat, unlike its larger siblings. The boat concept is optimal for active hobby and leisure fishing, water sports, excursions and simple overnight stays. This is an easy-to-use multi-purpose boat that suits all family members - from the grandparents to the grandchildren.
The long roof that covers the entire aft deck can be equipped with different solutions and configurations.
In the standard version, this is a long, self-supporting fiberglass roof. As an option, you can get a large skylight made of acrylic glass over the aft deck. There is also the option of mounting a removable canopy over the aft deck, designed to withstand loads from snow, which is part of winter use in the Nordics.
Hull, comfort and fuel economy. The Askeladden P76 Weekend builds on the successful concept of the P79 Weekend and P92 SUV with a completely new, optimized hull with two steps and a deep V-bottom. Comfort, stability, minimal planing threshold, good speed resources and class-leading performance in terms of fuel consumption characterize the new hulls in the Askeladden's P series.

This boat is optimized for the Suzuki DF200 APX. It is a very powerful engine that gives a top speed of 40 knots and unbeatable fuel economy!
