The Askeladden C97 is optimally adapted to Nordic boating and can be transformed from an open day cruiser to a closed cabin boat within seconds - with a single push of a button that opens and closes the electric soft top combined with a simple and smart canopy curtain solution in the stern.
SPACIOUS AND SMART RECREATIONAL BOAT
We have spent many design hours making this our most functional and utility-oriented boat ever.
With the new concept, the Askeladden C97 has larger and more open areas where you can enjoy beautiful weather and sun, than usual day-cruiser boats have. And if you're out with the C97 in bad weather, the boat has larger enclosed and interior areas than a traditional pilothouse boat.
In other words, the Askeladden C97 is the perfect hybrid between pilothouse and day-cruiser, with no loss of performance in either of these areas of use. The new Askeladden C97 provides a comfortable, spacious cabin feeling when closed, and a free, luxurious big boat feeling when it is opened up.
ASKELADDEN C97 AS A WEEKEND AND TOUR BOAT
This boat has comfortable facilities that normally belong to the large boat segment and that make life out in the Nordic archipelago comfortable and easy for the users.
Overnight trips will be pleasant with the new C97. Two separate cabins provide sleeping space and privacy for four people. If there are even more people on the boat trip, the seating area in the cockpit can be converted into an extra double bed with room for two more people.
Below deck, you can stand straight up, which also applies to the shower. A toilet space with a separate full-fledged shower is a luxury you usually don't expect from this class of boat.
There is also plenty of storage space on board, and those who want and need it can also opt for an extra cooler.
This is simply a boat you want to go on a long trip with.
LARGE SUNBED IN THE BOW
A large, comfortable sunbed occupies the bow area of the Askeladden C97 – easily accessible via a passage on the port side of the cabin. Here, three people can comfortably enjoy the sun when the boat is stationary.
OPEN OR CLOSED?
The Askeladden C97 offers plenty of boating pleasure, regardless of the weather. The cockpit is large and spacious, and we've made some smart design moves to further enhance this feeling. A huge panoramic sunroof opens with a simple push, so you can enjoy sun and wind on the entire deck. The boat feels like a pure day cruiser, which is enhanced by its sporty driving characteristics.
In bad weather, the sunroof can be closed, and there is also a canopy in the rear of the cockpit that can be closed. Our brand new, smart design solution makes it very easy to assemble this canopy - it folds easily and quickly into the side posts of the hardtop. With the canopy and roof closed, the boat feels like a pure pilothouse boat.
